BrookWood Services is a Christian non-profit that provides spiritual direction, life coaching and pastoral care and consultation to individuals. We provide couples with premarital and marital consultation using proven tools and years of experience. We also provide organizational health consultation to businesses and nonprofits, Finally, we provide pastoral services (weddings, funerals, preaching, teaching, keynote addresses for public events, etc.).
We are spiritual directors, pastors and organizational health consultants who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, and organizations become all that God created them to be. We are not medical professionals nor licensed counselors and therefore do not offer medical, psychological or psychiatric help. We do, however, have many years of experience, as well as certifications/licensures, which equip us to serve those seeking to grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and face life-changing events or difficult situations.
We are people of faith in Jesus Christ and hold to traditional interpretations of the Holy Bible which informs our worldview and provides the boundaries of the type of work we can and cannot do. Our clients are not required to have the same faith or understanding of the Bible, but those who do will probably find us to be more effective than those who do not.
We serve many types of clients including those locally who have been incarcerated, struggled with addiction, or are living in poverty and cannot pay full price for our services. We also serve young adults in Guatemala who grew up in children’s homes (where our founder served as a missionary for 7 years). We help them find jobs or improve their employment situation through university scholarships, job training, or obtaining trade licensures and certifications. We are able to serve these local and international clients at reduced cost thanks to tax-deductible donations from generous people like you.
